BPA and PVC Free Toothbrushes

So now that you’ve switched to Dr. Nates Natural Mint Toothpaste it’s time to consider what goes into your toothbrush itself. I suggest using  soft or medium bristle toothbrushes because they safely remove plaque while not harming your teeth and gums. Another often overlooked factor to consider when picking a toothbrush is what the head and handle are constructed of. To help you avoid some of the harmful plastics such as BPA and PVC, I’ve made this list of BPA and PVC free toothbrushes.

  • American Red Cross Toddler Toothbrush
  • Baby Buddy:  Baby’s 1st Toothbrush
  • Green Sprouts: Silicone Baby Toothbrush
  • Green Sprouts: Silicone Finger Toothbrush
  • Green Sprouts: My First Toothbrush
  • Kent Toothbrushes
  • Kushies: Baby Banana Brush
  • MAM: Teach Me Toothbrush
  • Nuby Toothbrushes
  • Oral-B Toothbrushes
  • Preserve Toothbrushes
  • Radius: Totz Toothbrush
  • Smile Brite Toothbrushes
  • ZoLi: Gummy Stick

I would like to know whether your toothpaste contains sodium lauryl sulphate or glycerin. I’m trying to find a toothpaste which doesn’t contain sodium flouride but that is devoid of ALL other toxins and is COMPLETELY natural. Thank you.

Yes our toothpaste does contain Glycerin, which for those who aren’t aware is a naturally occuring moisturizer and sweetner.

We also do not put SLS in any ingredients. As you have correctly stated, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate is toxic in high quantities and in low quantities it dries the mouth out and has been shown to cause mouth ulcers. If you can stay away from this common detergent found in almost everything from foods to shampoos, I believe we will be healthier for it. Please let me know what you think about this. Dr. Nate

I need a toothpaste that does not dry my lips more than they are. Does your help in the area?

Your toothpaste shouldn’t effect your lips. If your experiencing dryness you should look into a lip balm. Our new Natural Lip Therapy would be a perfect solution for aiding the dryness. Find it in our Online Store http://www.DrNates.com/Products

No, it should not dry your lips out because it does not contain Sodium lauryl Sulfate, the detergent that is found in almost all toothpastes that dries the mouth and can cause mouth ulcers. Our toothpaste does not contain this and look for others that do not contain this ingredient if you find taste to be a problem. I hope this helps.
